The Philippines,
Seen Differently.

A collection of stories, objects, places, and ideas that invite us to look closer at the Philippines.

National Museum
INTRODUCTION

People. Place. Purpose.

Immerse yourself in the culture, science, history, and the arts of the Philippines in faith to ignite your social responsibility—from historical and cultural materials that tell a story in our national museum to be aware of the pressing issues we are still facing as a nation as a call for action. From sustainable public markets, biodiversity, an eco-friendly campus, and mitigating floods, each solution is dedicated to widespread solutions while also preserving the environment. This webfolio is dedicated to spreading awareness about different environmental and social issues in the Philippines, and how every action is connected to a consequence. Here, we show openness to the poor and sensitivity to the needs of persons and community by seeing the world in their lens and discovering ways to alleviate their pain and hardships. More than simply presenting problems, this aims to look beyond the surface level to face challenges and contribute to solutions that are not only environmentally sustainable, but also socially inclusive and beneficial to future generations through initiative and collective participation. Explore the different galleries and examine the real-world challenges, discover pathways that inspire you to dive deeper in your advocacy, and to look beyond critical awareness and toward action. Let these stories and experiences enlighten you to become an informed advocate to protect the environment, respect cultural heritage, amplify the voices of the vulnerable, which then contributes to building a more sustainable and resilient Philippines.
